Firstly, select a rental start and end date. Click “For Rent” and then our live availability checker will help find the equipment you need, for when you need it. If it says available then it will be. Add what you need to you cart. Once you have chosen everything you need, proceed through the ‘checkout’ where the equipment will be reserved for you, and payment will be be taken.

Please note, if you’re hiring from Lightchasers Rentals for the first time, then locate your NZ Passport and a document with your address on it and click to complete a Rental Agreement.

We will be in touch with you to confirm your booking and the pickup time. In most cases, we allow equipment to be picked up the day prior to your booking date. Please check your email for collection address.

If you wish to have items couriered, please let us know in advance, and note that this will incur an additional charge which will be billed later.

If you’ve never used the equipment before then let us know in advance as we’d love to give you a brief run through to make sure you’re getting the best out of it! Please allow a few extra minutes at pickup.

You get to choose a return time when you make a booking. We’ll get in touch if the time you’ve chosen doesn’t suit. We expect items to be returned between 8:00am and 10:00am the day after you’ve hired them. If you’re running late - please let us know as this may interfere with other bookings.
