You get the chance to earn income from gear that might otherwise be sitting on a shelf, while local filmmakers, photographers and production crews get access to high-quality equipment without needing to buy everything themselves.

You keep ownership. We handle the hassle.

We handle the customer bookings, payments, rental paperwork, ID checks, logistics and support. You provide quality gear that is well looked after and suitable for rental. Together, we help keep good equipment working, earning, and available to the creative community.

How it works 

Key Benefits:

What we look for :

• Equipment should be well protected (e.g., in pelican cases).
• Gear must be stored on-site with us to enable quick turnaround rentals
• Your insurance policy must allow equipment to be rented out

Earnings Breakdown Based on Insurance and One Days Hire:

GST is included in the rental price but removed from commission calculations.

Payment Split: 70% to you, 30% to Lightchasers Rentals
Owner's Earnings: $106.52+GST
Lightchasers Rentals' Earnings: $41.74

Additional Notes:

One-time onboarding fee: $50 + GST per item
This covers listing, setup, testing, and preparing your equipment in our rental system.
